Investors witnessed gain in the benchmark indices of the country’s both bourses — Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) on Tuesday.
The key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, DSEX, rose over 10.30 points or over 0.21 percent to 4697.50 after the end of day’s transaction.
Trade deals stood at 168847 with volume of transactions at Tk 7207.232 million. Of the issues traded, 138 advanced and 153 declined while 34 remained unchanged.
EMERALDOIL topped the turn over list by value worth Tk 291.7810 million followed by UPGDCL, ALLTEX, BDTHAI, ITC, GP, BXPHARMA, CNATEX, QSMDRYCELL and UNITEDAIR.
Chittagong Stocks Exchange (CSE) also witnessed followed the upward trend as its key index, Selective Category Index (CSCX), gained 28.191 points to 8733.087, at the end of day’s trading.
Of the issues traded till then, 93 advanced, 128 declined and 34 remained unchanged.
