UNB, Dhaka :Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained on Sunday, the 1st trading day of the week.The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 13.95 points or 0.29 percent to close at 4802.18 on the day. Of the 310 issues traded, 134 gained, 125 declined and 51 remained unchanged.Shares worth Tk 245.38 crore changed hands at the DSE on Sunday against Tk 248.67 crore on Thursday.The day’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were Shahjibazar Power, Bangas, Reckitt Benckiser, Ambee Pharma, ACI Formulations, ACI, Eastern Lubricants, Wata Chemicals, Agrani Insurance, and Marico Bangladesh.The 5 turnover leaders of the day were Shahjibazar Power, ACI, Lafarge Surma Cement, Square Pharmaceuticals, and MJL Bangladesh.The CSE key index, CSCX, gained 33.31 points to reach 8931.80 on Sunday. Of the 234 issues traded, 105 advanced, 99 suffered loss and 30 remained unchanged.The value of the traded issues was Tk 22.96 crore at the CSE on the day.
