Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained on Tuesday, the 3rd trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 20.07 points or nearly 0.41 percent to close at 4934.78 on the day. Of the 303 issues traded, 152 gained, 111 suffered loss and 40 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 668.77 crore changed hands at the DSE on Tuesday.
The CSE key index, CSCX gained 14.20 points to reach 9287.39 at close on the day. Of the 225 issues traded, 97 advanced, 94 suffered loss and 34 remained unchanged.
