Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained on Tuesday, the 3rd trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 13.21 points or nearly 0.27 percent to close at 4944.03 on the day. Of the 304 issues traded, 162 gained, 111 suffered loss and 31 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues was Tk 433.86 crore at the DSE on Tuesday as against Tk 426.49 crore on Monday.
The day’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were Rupali Bank, Anwar Galvanizing, Legacy Footwear, Hakkani Pulp & Paper, Deshbandhu Polymer, Sinobangla Industries, United Leasing, Miracle Industries, AIBL 1st Islamic Mutual Fund, and BD Thai Aluminum.
The CSE key index, CSCX gained 21.43 points to reach 9295.03 at close on the day. Of the 222 issues traded, 104 advanced, 100 suffered loss and 18 remained unchanged.
The value of the traded issues was Tk 29.93 crore at the CSE on Tuesday as against Tk 32.25 crore on the previous day.
