Meanwhile, several lease taking traders alleged that they failed to submit tender schedules for mismanagement of DNCC officials.
They said, DNCC announced its schedule on April 13. Its last date of collecting schedule was May8 and last date of submitting those was May9.
The traders said that as per the announcement, they have to collect and submit the tender schedules from DNCC’s Zonal offices.
But officials of zonal offices had not received their tender schedule.
As a result many of them failed to submit tenders in time.
They requested the DNCC to give them another chance for submitting the tender schedules.
Meanwhile, Muzammel Hoque, Chief Estate Officer of DNCC could not be reached while trying several times for taking his comment in this regard.
Officials of both the city corporations are hopeful of earning huge revenues from the cattle markets.
In 2021, both the city corporations have earned Tk 220,533,452 from the lease of capital’s 20 sacrificial animal markets.
