Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Sunday predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country having a chance of rain or thundershowers at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in 24 hours as of 9 am today ( Monday)
“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said the Met Office.
Day temperature may rise by 2-5 degree Celsius and night temperature may fall by 1-3 degree Celsius over the country during the period.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 34.3 degrees Celsius at Teknaf in Chattogram division and Sunday’s minimum temperature 21.8 degrees Celsius at Madaripur and Badalgachhi in Dhaka and Rajshahi division respectively.
The highest rainfall was recorded 90 mm at M.Court in Chattogram division in the last 24 hours ending at 6 am on Sunday.
The sun sets at 6:29 pm on Sunday and rises at 5:29 am today (Monday) in the capital.
