Dry weather likely over country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday predicted that weather may remain dry in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am on Sunday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country. Moderate to thick fog may occur over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning, it may continue till afternoon at places,” said a Met office bulletin issued on Sunday morning.
Mild cold wave is sweeping over Ishwardi, Kurigram, Panchagarh and Kushtia regions, added the bulletin.
However, the night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted that the temperature may rise at the end period.
The highest temperature on Saturday was recorded 25.8 degree Celsius in Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar, while Sunday’s minimum temperature is 09.5 degree Celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur district.
The sun sets at 5:30 pm today and rises at 6:44 am tomorrow in the capital.
