Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am today.
But, light rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Chattogram, Barishal, Khulna and Sylhet divisions, said a Met bulletin issued on Friday morning.
Light fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning.
Day temperature may increase by 1 to 3 degree celsius and night temperature may fall slightly over the country, the bulletin said. The maximum temperature was recorded 29.5 degrees celsius on Thursday at Kutubdia while Friday’s minimum temperature 15 degrees celsius at Tetulia. The highest rainfall in the last 24 hours as of 6 am on Friday was recorded 68 mm in Khulna.
