Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Saturday predicted dry weather with temporary party cloudy sky at most places across the country in next 24 hours ending at 9 am today. The Met office also forecasted that some place across the country may witness light to moderate rain during the time. “Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places in Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at one or two places in Dhaka, Khulna and Barishal divisions. Weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” said a met bulletin issued here.
Moreover, day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may rise by 1-2 Celsius over the country, the bulletin said. The country’s maximum temperature was recorded 33.2 degrees Celsius on Friday at Madaripur in Dhaka division while Saturday’s minimum temperature 15.5 degrees Celsius at Tetulia in Rangpur division.
