Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours ending at 9 am today, said a met office press release here on Monday. Night temperature may rise by (1-2) degree celsius and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the country from late night to today’s morning. Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to Bihar, the release also said, adding seasonal low lies over South Bay. Trough of westerly low lies over sub-Himalayan west Bengal and adjoining areas. The maximum temperature was recorded 30.8 degree celsius on Sunday at Khepupara in Barisal division and Monday’s minimum temperature 11.8 degree celsius at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.
