Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country,” said a met office bulletin issued on Saturday morning.
It said moderate to thick fog may occur over the river basins and adjoining area, while light to moderate fog may fall at some places elsewhere over the country during midnight to morning.
Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area with seasonal low lies over South Bay, it added.
Night and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Friday was recorded 27.8 degrees Celsius at Teknaf of Cox’s Bazar district under Chattogram division, while Saturday’s minimum temperature was 8.7 degree Celsius in Tetulia under Rangpur division.
