Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted that weather would remain dry over the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
“Weather may remain dry over the country. Light to moderate fog may occur at some places over the river basins of the country from late night to tomorrow morning,” said a met office bulletin issued on Tuesday morning. Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country, the bulletin added.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 34.1 degrees Celsius in Mongla of Khulna division, while Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 15.1 degrees Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet division.
