Dry weather likely

Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicted dry weather mainly, along with light to moderate rain or thundershowers at some parts of the country in the next 24 hours commencing at 9am yesterday.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country.
Light to moderate rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions,” said a Met Office press release here on Tuesday.
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country, the release said.
Maximum temperature on Monday was recorded 36.0 degree Celsius jointly at Sayedpur, Mongla and Khulna and lowest temperature on Tuesday was recorded by 22.7 degree Celsius at Tetulia.
Maximum rainfall for the last twenty-four hours till 6am today was recorded 57 millimeters (mm) at the capital.
