Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Tuesday predicted mainly dry weather along with rain at one or two places of the country during the next 24 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday.
“Weather may remain mainly dry over the country having chances of rain or thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind at one or two places over Khulna and Barishal divisions,” a met office bulletin said.
Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country, it added.
As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours commencing at 9 am yesterday, the bulletin predicted that day and night temperature may rise further.
The highest temperature on Monday was recorded 32.7 degrees Celsius in Patuakhali of Barishal division while Tuesday’s minimum temperature was 15.5 degree Celsius in Rajarhat of Rangpur division.
