Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Monday predicted dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky over the country during next 24 hours ending 9 am today.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Khulna and Rajshahi divisions,” said a met office bulletin issued here.
Day temperature may fall slightly over northwestern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country.
However, night temperature may rise by (1-2) degree Celcius over the country.
As an extended outlook for the next 72 hours, the bulletin predicted rain or thunder shower activity is likely to occur.
The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 33.0 degrees Celsius at Sylhet and Monday’s minimum temperature was 14.4 degrees Celsius at Srimangal in Sylhet division, Tetulia and Rajarhat in Rangpur division.
