The met office on Friday predicted that weather would remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am yesterday.
“Weather may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy sky over the country, having chances of light rain or drizzle at one or two places over Khulna division,” said a Met office bulletin issued here. Mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over Rangpur division and the regions of Pabna and Srimangal and it may abate from some places. Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late-night to morning.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may fall slightly over the country, the bulletin said.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded 28.6 degree Celsius in Sandwip of Chattogram, while Friday’s minimum temperature was 7.1 degree Celsius in Tetulia of Panchagarh district.
