Detective Branch police of Chittagong Metropolitan police rounded up one drug peddler from Chowk super market area under Chowkbazar thana in city on Thursday night. The drug peddler identified as Kaiser hails from Chowkoria upazila of coxsbazar district and son of one Harunur Rashid. DB police recovered 10 kgs of ganza from his possession. Additional deputy commissioner of police(south) Mirza Sayem Mahmud told that acting on secret information, police detained him along with hem .
These hem was packed in a gunny sack . Drug peddler Kaiser was waiting infront of a restaurant in Chowkbazar area aimed at delivery these hem to the buyer. Sensing the presence of the law enforcers , the drug peddler tried to escape from the spot but police caught him quickly while fleeing.
