Drug trader with 625 Yaba tablets arrested in Mollahat

A drug trader named Rafiq Munshis (22) was arrested from the village Natun Ghosgati under Mollahat Upazila in Bagerhat district on Monday afternoon by a contingent of RAB-6 of Khulna, according to a report received here. Arrested Rafiq Munshi is the son of one Alal Munshi and Shahnara Begum of local village Kulia. But at present they are now residing in the village Joydihi under the same Upazila.
It is learnt from a source of RAB-6 that acting on secret information that some drug traders are loitering at Ghosgati area for selling drugs a contingent of RAB raided the concerned area in the afternoon (Monday) and caught Rafiq Munshi red handed along with 625 pieces of Yaba tablets. Later a case was registered with Mollahat PS against him under the concerned act.
Another report states that one Mizanur Rahman Hawladar (34) a drug trader was arrested along with 200 pieces Yaba tablets from the village Nurullapur within Daibanjahati Union Parishad under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district by the joint force of Narcotic department and Bagerhat district police on Monday morning. The arrested drug trader is the son of one Sekendar Hawladar of the same village.
It is learnt from the police and the Narcotic department of of Bagerhat that acting on secret information the joint force of Narcotic department and police raided the house of drug trader Mizanur Rahma in the morning, arrested him from there and recovered some 200 pieces of Yaba tablets from his possession. Later he was handed over to the police of Morre;ganj PS. Md. Monirul Islam, Officer-in-charge of Morrelgamj PS told, arrested Mizanur Rahman Hawladar is an identified drug trader and a number cases are pending in the PS under Narcotic Act.
