Members of Chattogrram Metropolitan police in a drive arrested an alleged drug trader with 13,500 pieces contraband yaba pills from KC Dey road area of the city early on Wednesday.
The arrestee was identified as Al Amin Sheikh, 25, son of Solaiman Sheikh, hailed from Firngibazar area under Kotwali thana in the city.
On secret information, a team of Kotwali Police Station arrested Al Amin from the KC Dey road area around 5 am and seized 13,500 pieces of contraband Yaba tablet from his possession, officer-in-charge of Kotwali Police Station Mohammad Mohsin said.
