A drug trader named Tapas Das was arrested along with some 875 pieces of Yaba pills from Chulkathi Bazar under Sadar Upazila in Bagerhat district by a contingent of RAB-6 (of Khulna) at the night of Sunday, according to a delayed report received here.
Later a mobile phone and a sum of cash Tk.1,290 were recovered from the drug trader’s possession. After lodging a case with Bagerhat Sadar Model PS under Narcotic Act against the drug trader he was handed over to the PS. It is mentionable here that acting on secret information the RAB-6 raided the Bazar at the night and arrested the drug trader.
