A mobile court of Narcotics Control Department in an anti -narcotics drive led by Senior Magistrate Abu Taher Sayeed at Jasodal Muslimpara in Kishoreganj Sadar arrested Khairunnesa (60), a listed drug trader on Monday midnight.
She is wife of Manik Mia of village Jasodal Muslimpara under Kishoreganj Sadar in the district. Police recovered 48 yaba tablets and two kgs hemps from her possession.
The court gave her two years jailed and fined Tk 10 thousand. Khairunnesa involved in drug trading for 20 years and several cases of the district. She was a listed drug trader of the Home Ministry . She was sent to Kishoreganj District jail.
