Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive on Thursday night, arrested listed drug dealer Usha Rakhain from her home at Purba Machh Bazaar in the tourist resort town along with a huge quantity of drugs.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB-7 raided the house of Usha Rakhain, known as drug queen, at Argentina Building at about 11pm and nabbed her for the third time.
The elite force also recovered 1.675 kg heroin, 1,140 yaba tablets and six bottles of phensedyl worth about Tk 2 crore and Tk 1.63 lakh in cash during the drive.
RAB-7 camp commander Lt Colonel Saud, who led the team, said Usha confessed her involvement in drug trading and disclosed names of some of her associates.
