Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in a drive on Thursday night, arrested listed drug dealer Usha Rakhain from her home at Purba Machh Bazar in the tourist resort town alongwith huge quantum of drugs.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of RAB -7, raided the house of Usha Rakhain, known as drug queen, at Argentina Building at about 11pm and nabbed her for the third time.
The elite force also recovered 1.675 kgs heroin, 1,140 Yaba tablets and six bottles of phensidyl, worth about Tk 2 crore, and Tk 1.63 lakh in cash during the drive.
RAB-7 camp commander Lt Commander Saud, who led the team, said Usha confessed to have involved in drug trading and disclosed names of some of her associates.
