Being drug addict, a high school managing Committee president was removed from this responsibility by Cumilla Education Board in a letter memo no 30/ 24.10.19, signed (illegible) by the Inspector of Schools. His name is Khaja Ahamad Majumder-President of the Managing Committee of Montola Hamidia High School, Faridganj. He is actually addicted to drugs and his taking yaba drugs went viral on Face Book very recently and news items in this connection were printed in the local news papers.
The newly elected President Kahje Ahammad Majumder,35, was informed about this matter by the Board following complaints in this regard. He was also requested to reply about this matter if he has anything to say or not, within seven days. But he did not reply at all. So, the Education Board authority removed him from the post of President of the Managing Committee of Montola Hamidia High School in Faridganj Upazila.
