The DRU-Walton Media Cup Football Tournament, to be organised by Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) and sponsored by Walton Group, will be held in the first week of September after a long gap of five years.
Some 32 teams from different print, electronics, online media and new agency outlets are expected to compete in the five-day six-a-side meet for the journalists.
The last edition of the DRU Media Cup Football was held in 2011
The DRU successfully completed the first-ever Handball Tournament for media people last month at the National Handball Stadium here.
