Morsalin Ahmed of Chessbd.com emerged champion in the chess event of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Sports Festival beating Moskayet Mashrek of Radio Today in the final held on Saturday at chess hall -room of National Sports Council.
Earlier, on way to the final, Morsalin beat Sayeed Shipon of The Reports 24.com in the first semifinal while Moskayet defeated Shahjahan Saju of Khabar Patra in the second semis.
