The Sports Festival of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) begins today (Wednesday) at DRU premises. The festival will begin with bridge event, said a DRU press release.
A total of 750 members of the organization registered their entry to take part in the meet.
Among the events included bridge, chess, badminton, carrom, mini marathon, shot put, archery, shooting, table tennis and swimming for the man’s members while the women’s member will compete in shooting, swimming, carrom and mini marathon.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Tuesday at DRU auditorium to give all the details of the meet.
DRU secretary Razu Ahmed, sports secretary M Mojibur Rahman and others executive members were present on the occasion.
