Sports Reporter :The Parn Krako-DRU Handball Tournament begins on July 24 at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium. Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) will arrange the handball competition under auspices of Pran Foods Limited. Bangladesh Handball Federation will give all sorts of co-operation to run the meet smoothly.Marking the upcoming handball tournament, a press conference was held at the Sagar-Runi Auditorium of DRU on Tuesday.President of DRU Jamal Uddin presided over the conference.General Secretary of DRU Razu Ahmed, Finance Secretary of DRU Kamruzzaman Kajol, Sports Secretary of DRU Md Mujibor Rahman, General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Head of Marketing of Pran Foods Limited Md Ali Hasan Alom, Assistant Brand Manager of Pran Foods Limited Md Raihan Ahmed and Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Aminul Haque Mallick were present at the conference.A total of 24 teams including national dailies, news agencies, online media and satellite channels will take part at the competition.The champions will be awarded Tk twenty five thousand and a trophy while the runners-up will get Tk fifteen thousand and a trophy. Besides, the Man of the Tournament and the Man of the Matches will be given prizes from sponsor organization.
