The Pran Krako-DRU Handball Tournament began at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handbal Stadium on Sunday.
State Minister for LGRD and Cooperatives Md Mashiur Rahman Ranga inaugurated the handball meet by releasing the balloons as the chief guest while Assistant Operations Manger of Pran Foods Limited Rafiqul Islam, Assistant Brand Manager of Pran Foods Limited Md Raihan Ahmed, General Secretary of Bangladesh Handball Federation Asaduzzaman Kohinoor were with him as special guests.
President of Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) Jamal Uddin presided over the inaugural ceremony while General Secretary of DRU Raju Ahmed moderated the ceremony.
Sports Secretary of DRU Md Mojibur Rahman delivered the address of welcome.
Former president of DRU Shahed Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary of DRU Sheikh Jamal, Finance Secretary of DRU Kamruzzaman Kajol, Member Secretary of the Tournament Committee Aminul Haque Mallick were present, among others.
