The two-day long Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) ” Family Sports Festival 2017 concluded amidst great enthusiasm on Saturday morning adjacent to Bangabandhu National Stadium at Shaheed Captain (retd) M Mansur Ali Handball ground.
On the second day of the meet in children’s (big) 200-meter race competition, Shahanewaj Dulal’s son Ryan Newaz came out first.
The second position was bagged by Channel i Assistant Editor M Zahiduzzaman’s son Souvenir Zahid and the third spot was captured by senior reporter of Bengali Tribune, Emran Hossain Sheikh’s son Mushfiqur Rahman Shuvro.
In the member’s girl 200 meter race was captured by Protima Madhurjo Prova , daughter of Sports Editor of ATN Bangla Parag Aarman . In the second position was taken by chief reporter of the Nagorik TV Shahnaz Anjum’s daughter Ahona Anjum and Senior reporter of Inqilab , Syeda Kaniz Afrin Alam’s,daughter Asamita Islam took the third spot.
In the 100-meter race, Monir Hossain, senior reporter of the Naya Diganta daughter Lamia Ayesha Akhtar stood first.
The second position was bagged, special correspondent of The Financial Express Azizur Rahman Ripon’s daughter Raisa Rahman and the third position was taken by Inqilab’s Correspondent Syed Abdul Malik’s daughter Jahan Prova Isamita.
In the DRU member’s husband 200m race Shomoy TV reporter Parveen Akhter’s husband SM Rezwan Haq came out first, the second spot was bagged by Staff Reporter of Mohona TV Farhana Haque Nila’s husband Imran Hossain, and the third position was also taken by staff reporter of Mohona TV Nazneen Akhtar Lucky’s husband Imran Tushar.
In the member’s wife race, wife of Chief Reporter of Bhorer Kagoj Akhtaruzzaman Lablu, Arina Sultana won the top spot .
The second position was bagged by special correspondent of Dainik Kalbela , Abu Bakar’s wife Anwara Perveen while the third went to special correspondent of Financial Express Azizur Rahman Ripon’s wife Hasina Sultana,
In the Pillow passing event, special correspondent Azizur Rahman Ripon’s wife Hasina sultana emerged in the first position.
The second position was captured by special correspondent of Financial Express Abu Bakr’s wife Anwara Parveen and the thirdplace went to staff reporter of Inqilab, Saeed Abdul Malik’s wife Bilkis Akhter.
