Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) on Friday accorded a reception to the meritorious children of DRU members who secured outstanding results in Primary School Certificate (PSC) and Junior School Certificate (JSC) Examinations in 2015.
DRU awarded certificates, crests and stipend to 25 PSC and 15 JSC students through the function held at the DRU’s Sagor-Runi auditorium in the city.
DRU President Jamal Uddin presided over the event which was addressed, among others, by DRU General Secretary Raju Ahmed, Convener of the programme and Joint Secretary M Sazzad Hossain.
ex-DRU president Shahed Chowdhury, former general secretary Elias Khan and ex-general secretary of Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) Kuddus Afrad.
