In the light of the government’s decision on the occasion of National Mourning Day, a huge ‘dropdown banner’ has been displayed in various educational institutions of Adamdighi Upazila of Bogra.
In a letter sent to every primary, secondary and college from Adamdighi Education Office and Adamdighi Secondary Education Office, it has been directed to preserve 26 selected books related to Bangabandhu in every educational institution including this program of National Mourning Day. Besides, all the teachers have been asked to be present at their respective institutions on the day of National Mourning Day on August 15. Moreover, emphasis has been laid on taking online classes.
According to the Adamdighi Upazila Primary and Secondary Education Office, dropdown flags have been hoisted in 98 government primary schools of the upazila in the light of the National Mourning Day program. On the occasion of the death anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib, this dropdown has been directed to be hung in all educational institutions across the country.

Adamdighi Secondary Education Officer Mahbubul Hossain said all schools and colleges were closed due to the lockdown.
