The draw ceremony of the final round of the Walton Under-18 National Football Championship was held at the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation House on Wednesday. The gala football meet will start on April 23 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium and will come to an end on May 4.
A total of eight teams splitting into two groups are taking part in the first phase of the final round. Rajshahi District team, BKSP, Rangpur District team, Dhaka District team have been billed in Group-A, while Chittagong District team, Barisal District team, Satkhira District team, Sylhet District have been placed in Group-B.
Vice-President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) and Chairman of the Tournament Committee Mohiuddin Ahmed Mohi, Head of Sports and Welfare Department of Walton Group FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, General Secretary of BFF Md Abu Nayeem Shohag and Coach Mohidur Rahman Miraz were present at the draw ceremony.
The top two teams from each group will move into the semi-finals. The two semi-finals will be held on April 30. The winners of the semi-finals will face each other in the final.
The final will be held on May 4.
The highest scorer and the Man of the Final will be awarded Walton 32 inches LED televisions.
