The draft of the Jatiya Oikya’s ongoing demands for unified movement has been finalized.
Jukta Front leader and Convener of Nagorik Oikya Mahmudur Rahman Manna said the draft will be announced after a meeting again on Saturday.
The decision had been taken at a meeting held at the residence of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) leader ASM Abdur Rab in city’s Uttara yesterday. Leaders of BNP, Jukta Front and Gono Forum attended the meeting that began at around 3:00pm.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, and party standing committee members Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain and Moudud Ahmed, Gono Foram Executive President Subrata Chowdhury, General Secretary Mostafa Mohsin Montu, former DUCSU VP Sultan Mansur, Bikalpa Dhara Joint Secretary General Mahi B. Chowdhury, Bikalpa Dhara central leaders Omar Farooq, Shahidullah Kaiser and JSD General Secretary Abdul Malek Ratan joined the meeting, among others.
