Parbatya Bangalee Chhatra Parishad, a student body of settlers in Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT), on Thursday threatened to go for a tougher movement if the draft of ‘Chittagong
Hill Tracts Land Dispute Resolution Commission (Amendment) Act 2016′ was not cancelled.
The protesters brought out a procession from Khagrachhari High School ground demanding cancellation of the draft of the CHT land commission (Amendment) law in the morning.
After parading different important points of the district town, the procession ended at Shapla Chattar.
Besides, a rally was held at Shapla Chattar where the speakers strongly demanded cancellation of the amendment.
