Gonoshasthaya Kendra founder Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury on Friday urged the Prime Minister (PM) for holding dialogue with the political leaders to form an election time all-party government.
The PM has power to start a dialogue with the political leaders about forming an all-party government,” said Dr. Zafrullah while addressing a programme organized in front of the National Press Club in the capital.
‘Jubo Odhikar Parishad’ arranged the programme protesting the price hike of essentials commodities.
He said, “There are many people who are not biased,. They can render good advices to be helpful in resolving the political differences. Free, fair
and inclusive elections must be ensured under a non-partisan and neutral government. Good governance is also needed,” said, Dr. Zafrullah.
“To have a welfare country, to maintain law and order, and to shield harmony in the country, we have to sit together” said Zafrullah.
The Veteran Freedom Fighter Dr. Zafrullah said, “The government has fixed the price of the bottled edible oil Tk 198. We know not how long the people will bear the taste of the rising prices of the edible oil and others?”
He said, “Clouds have gathered in the sky. This is not a good sign. Let us hold dialogue to find a solution.” To control food prices is not a difficult task. Sincerity could be the answer.
Bangladesh Gono Odhikar Parishad member-secretary Nurul Haque Nur also spoke at the same programme.
