Former additional chief medical officer of Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corporation (BCIC) Dr Toufiqunnesa died of Covid-19 on Monday night.
She was being treated in the capital’s Anwer Khan Modern Medical College Hospital, confirmed Dr Rahat Anwer Choudhury, joint secretary of the Foundation for Doctors’ Safety, Rights and Responsibilities (FDSR).
She was a former student of Mymensingh Medical College.
