Mymensingh District Awami League Organising Secretary, ex-VP of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Krishibid Dr. Shameul Alam Liton donated 30 oxygen cylinders personally to Gouripur Upazila Health Complex (UHC) for the treatment of the Covid patients in the upazila.
The oxygen cylinders were handed over to the Health Complex at a hand over ceremony held in a public hall of the upazila on Monday organized by Gouripur Upazila Administration in presence of Freedom Fighter Nazim Uddin Ahmed, MP and Deputy Commissioner (DC) Mohammad Enamul Haque.
Dr. Samiul Alam Liton said that oxygen is most needed for the treatment of covid patients during this coronary period. He had donated 30 oxygen cylinders to the Health Complex so that there is no shortage of oxygen.
District Awami League General Secretary Moazzem Hossain Babul, Joint General Secretary MA Kaddus, Shawkat Jahan Mukul, Upazila Chairman Mofazzal Hossain Khan, UNO of Gouripur Upazila Hasan Maruf, Additional Superintendent of Police Sheikh Mostafizur Rahman and Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr Md Rabiul Islam spoke at the ceremony and among other officers, newsmen, the grassroots leaders were present on the occasion.
