Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, passed away on Wednesday in the city’s Square Hospital due to old age complications. He was 91.
He was the former DG of Family Planning and Consultant of World Health Organization.
His namaz-e-janaza will be held today after Jumma prayer in his own mosque at Mirpur, Section-11.
His Qulkhwani will be held tomorrow after Magrib prayer at his residence in Mirpur, Section-11.
He left behind his only son, daughter, grand children and relatives to mourn his death. His well-wishers and relatives are requested to attend the Qulkhwani and pray for the salvation of his departed soul. RSVP: 01552309440, 01756543791.
