A case was filed after 36 hours of the recovery of the body of physician Sabira Rahman Lipi.
Dr Sabira’s cousin Rezaul Hasan Majumder Jewel filed the case with Kalabagan Police Station on Tuesday midnight.
Ramna New Market Zone Assistant Police Commissioner Sharif Mohammad Farukuzzaman confirmed the media.
Capital’s Green Life Hospital physician Sabira’s autopsy was conducted at Dhaka Medical College Hospital around 2:30pm on Tuesday.
Sources said that some stabbing marks were
found on the neck and body of the physician, which seems that it was a pre-planned murder.
Meanwhile, four persons were picked up by police on Monday in connection with Dr Sabira murder for questioning. They are guard of the house where Dr Sabira was murdered, a young woman who lives in a room of the physician’s flat, one of her friends and the maid of the flat.
The body of 47-year-old physician was recovered from her Kalabagan flat on Monday morning.
