The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Tuesday interrogated former Health Minister Dr AFM Ruhal Haque and his son in connection with amassing illegal wealth.
ACC deputy director Mirza Zahidul Alam started questioning Dr Ruhal Haque and his son
Ziaul Haque at 11 am and continued it till 1:30 pm at the ACC head office, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
During the interrogation, the ACC inquiry officer wanted to know about the sources of Ruhal’s income mentioned in his wealth statement he submitted to the Commission earlier.
The ACC has asked him to submit documents clarifying the sources of his wealth to the ACC within next seven days, ACC sources said.
On February 24, 2014, the ACC questioned Ruhal Haque for the first time on charges of amassing wealth illegally.
