Doctor Rubayat Islam Monti, received Gandi Peace Award-2016 for his outstanding contribution to the human service. The award was handed over in the city on Wednesday. Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Council arranged a round table on “Non-violent movement and today’s world” where Justice Kazi Ebadul Hoq, Ex chairman of press council. Shamsul Hoq Tuku MP was present at it.
Doctor Rubayat is manging director of Sumana Group Companies and Chairman of Doctor Sirajul Islam Medical College and Hospital.
