Dr.SM Nazrul Islam has been assigned as Chairman of Chittagong WASA Board recently.
He will replace Md. Shahjahan Ali Mollah of CWASA Board chairman who is also the chairman of Public Service commission . Dr. SM Nazrul Islam borns in Gopalgonj district in 1948 and started his professional carrer in 1970 as Lecturer of BUE T .
He also holds the posts of vice chancellor of BUET and KUET later. He also passed professional life in different universities of Canada, Nigeria and Libya as professor and dean respectively and obtained different awards in abroad including NIPA Foundation Medal, IEB Gold Medal, Commonwealth Scholarship, Canada Windsor University Graduate Scholarship, SITO scholarship . He also holding the post of Chairman of BPERB and IEB Dhaka, a CWASA release said.
