The government has recently reappointed Professor Dr Md Salim Uddin as Director of Rupali Bank Ltd for second term, said a press release on Thursday.
Md Salim Uddin, a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA), Fellow Cost and Management Accountant (FCMA) and Chartered Public Finance Accountant (CPFA), UK, is now a faculty member and professor of the department of accounting of Chittagong University.
Prior to the post, he worked as Independent Director of Premier Bank Ltd, and also worked as Director and Chairman of audit committee of Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd.
