Jatiya Oikyafront Convener and Gono Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain will start election campaign from Sylhet today with a street rally. The Oikyafront senior leaders are going to Sylhet for the purpose.
Oikyafront Media and Publicity official Mehadi Masud told the reporters that Dr Kamal would fly to Sylhet on Wednesday afternoon. Paying the tributes to the Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shah Paran’s (RA) shrines, he will join the street rally.
On the other hand, BNP chairperson’s media wing officer Shayrul Kabir Khan told the reporters that with Dr Kamal Hossain, BNP Standing Committee Member Nazrul Islam Khan, Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab, Krishak Sramik Janata League President Bangabir Abdul Kader Siddiqui and Founder of Gonoshasthaya Kendra Dr Zafrullah Chowdhury will fly together on Wednesday afternoon.
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia used to inaugurat her party’s electioneering after offering prayers at the shrines of Hazrat Shahjalal (RA) and Hazrat Shah Paran (RA). This year Dr Kamal Hossain will do this.
