UNB, Dhaka :Describing the recent terror attacks as disastrous for the nation, Gano Forum President Dr Kamal Hossain on Saturday called for forging a national unity mobilising social and political forces to effectively tackle it.”We’re calling for a national unity to get rid of terrorism. We’re positively saying about a unity. It’s not only of political parties, but also of the country’s all people, 16 crore or 17 crore, whatever the number is,” he said.Speaking at a press conference, he further said, “We also urge all the human rights bodies, all the civil society organizations, women and professionals to come forward to forge the national unity and resist terrorism.”The press meet was held at the Jatiya Press Club after a meeting of Gano Forum presidium members.
