Dr Nahid Farzana, student of Public Health Department of Daffodil International University achieved the ” Ekushey Award” for her outstanding performance in the field of medical services recently on the occasion of Amar Ekushey and International Mother Language Day-2014 by Shadhinata Sangsad.
She received the award in a discussion, award giving and cultural program titled “Language Movement to Liberation War and Today’s Bangladesh” at Central Public Library Auditorium.
Prof AAMS Arefin Siddiqi, Vice Chancellor, Dhaka University was present in the program as chief guest and distributed awards among the winners.
Great Language Soldier Prof Dr Mirza Majharul Islam and Keynote Speaker of the program was Language Soldier Dr Jashim Uddin Ahmed.
