Many of us think that Dr Ezazul Islam has come to acting suddenly. But he has attachment with acting during childhood. He is not only a reputed physician but also a popular actor.
He acted in many TV plays and serials. He also acted in some movies directed by Humayun Ahmed. He has acted in more than 35 movies till now.
Right now Dr Ezaz is waiting for releasing Neyamul Karim directed movie Dour. He was hailed from Rasulpur village of Gaibandha’s Sadullapur Thana but he was born in Mymensingh. When he was studying in Kurigram Govt High School he first acted in play Kolir Jwin. Later when he was a student of Rangpur Medical College he was also attached with acting. During that time he was enlisted as an actor in television and radio. His acted first radio play was Chandrakotha. After completing post-graduation when he was sent to Prof Karim to receive his certificate in the city’s Kakrail area he was first meet by Humayun Ahmed there. Later he got the opportunity to act in his short play Sabuj Sathi. Then he acted in many plays and serials.
Since 1990, Dr Ezaz has been giving treatment to patients in the Gazipur crossing. Last year he was appointed as Head of the Department, Nuclear Medicine. He is enjoying both acting and medical profession at a time.
