International researcher and eminent educationist Prof Dr Abdul Awal Khan have been appointed Vice -Chancellor (VC) of International Standard University for four years, says a press release.
Khan has worked as supervisors of more than 20 MPhil and PhD researchers .
He was born in a Muslim family at Saturia village under Rajapur Upazila in Jhalakati district .
Awal secured first class on Master of Commerce from the University of Dhaka and later he joined as lecturer at Chattogram University .
He took voluntary retirement in 2000 . He also served as professor and dean at different private universities.
