DPS STS School organised its ‘Annual In-House Teachers’ Training Workshop’ at the school’s Uttara Campus from 18 to 22 this month.
The chief trainer and guest of the workshop was Dr Zeenat Khader, Joint Secretary of Delhi Public Schools Society, India.
An expert in primary education and eminent educator Dr Zeenat, who has 40 years’ experience of education, conducted many thought-provoking sessions on behavioural issues of students, skills and strategies in problem solving, classroom management, etc from which teachers of the DPS STS School were benefited most.
The Principal and Vice Principal of the school also took team-building sessions, which were motivating and encouraging for teachers.
Other distinguished guests on the occasion were William Westgate, Principal of Regent College, Dhaka, Maria Kashif, Principal of The City School and Dr Mahbubur Rahman, assisant professor of Political Science at North South University.
The Department/ Section Heads of the school also took sessions that proved effective for other teachers.
